The factory shop at Torrington has an extensive range of Dartington Crystal seconds at greatly reduced prices. Also sold here is Royal Brierley cut crystal at discounted prices. Shopping opportunities include a giftware shop selling Portmeirion and Denby, locally produced quality goods, gifts and candles as well as The Edinburgh Woollen Mill with a large selection of classic knitwear and coordinated clothing. For a small charge, there are factory tours where you can watch skilled craftsmen blowing and shaping beautiful crystal. The visitor centre now includes a family activity centre where you can try your hand at glass art, paint or engrave your own designs on a piece of glass. There is a restaurant serving hot and cold meals. The other outlets sell crystal of first and second quality, all at discounted prices.
