High street shop, established in 1973, which sells ‘top quality designer menswear at rock bottom prices': factory seconds, ends of ranges, samples and previous season's stock in a range of men's clothes. Their main attractions are suits from Germany, although the labels have to be removed from their best contact's merchandise. The shop aims to discount stock by at least 50% off the usual high street price. Suits that normally retail for £350 sell here for as little as £135, fashion suits from Masterhand generally retail at £275, but sell here at £125. Pure wool dinner suits by Becon of Berlin, new or ex-hire, sell from £75. There is a large selection of trousers by Hoal and Meyer of Germany which sell for £29.50, normally found at £59.50. Coats in cashmere or pure wool are priced from £135. Danish knitwear from Belika which usually costs £65, sells at £27.50. Cotton shirts from Kings Road sell at £17.50 instead of £35. Pure cotton shirts from Milena of Italy sell from £23.95, RRP £75. Unique styled shirts from Kozom of Paris at £39.50. Also stocks cotton shirts by Hatico in super cotton, and suits from Attelier Torino which sell for half price. Jockey or giant, they promise to kit you out with a king-size department up to size 60. There are two clearance sales a year: contact Roy or Malcolm at the shop to be added to their mailing list.
