Set in a converted barn next to their workshop, Jane and Stephen Baughan's factory shop sells seconds and overmakes of their hand-decorated pottery. The pottery is made using traditional methods of slip-casting and jollying before being decorated by hand using a combination of fresh colours and a wide variety of surface designs. They have also developed their own specialised technique of hand stencilling on pottery. Designs range from Sunflower and Blue Wild Clematis to birds and animals, and all products are microwave and dishwasher safe. Stephen and Jane supply more than 200 shops, as well as English Heritage. There is now a visitors' centre open on weekdays from 9am to 5pm. From 1 June to 30 September, tours and demonstrations take place four time a day on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The first tour is at 11am and the last tour begins at 4pm. Tours cost £2 for adults and £1.50 for children. Other gifts and toys are now available, and there is a coffee shop and free parking on site.
