Granite worktops are usually at least 30mm in depth. They are also usually expensive. This company offers an opportunity to have a granite worktop at a fraction of the price. The granite is 12mm thick, backed by 25mm MDF with the facing edges or upstands in granite so it looks as if the whole worktop is solid 30mm granite. Sold in sets, each set consists of six pieces of 12mm thickness granite polished on its surface and front edge. One piece will be polished on its left hand edge and front while another piece will be polished on its right hand edge and front. Each set will have eight pieces of front profile nominally 26mm deep and an optional upstand pack of eight lengths of 75mm tall, polished on the top edge. Additional sheets, upstands and profiles may be ordered to augment the set. This company also sell shower/steam units at the cheapest prices I have seen for these very popular bathroom sets.
