McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, Livingston is Scotland's largest designer outlet. It has 90 stores, a cinema, a health club, restaurants and bars all under one roof. Located just off junction 3 of the M8, the centre is 35 miles from Glasgow and 16 miles from Edinburgh. Attractions close to the centre include Almond Valley Heritage Centre, Edinburgh Zoo, the Edinburgh Dungeon, the Royal Yacht Britannia and science attraction Dynamic Earth. Covering over 300,000 square feet, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, Livingston was developed in partnership with Land Securities - which also owns the neighbouring Almondvale Shopping - and is big enough to house Murrayfield rugby pitch three times. More than six million people visit the designer outlet every year.
