Items on sale include sofas, sofabeds, dining, bedroom, and garden and conservatory furniture. When I visited, I found that most of the merchandise was from Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, House of Fraser and other top end retailers. If you saw something in the Laura Ashley catalogue which you can't find here, they offer a ‘wish list' service whereby you can order it and they will phone you when it comes in. Everything is available to take away immediately. National Brands also have their own sofa workshops in Manchester supplying some of Europe's premier retailers. They are able to offer craftsman-made leather or fabric sofas from their extensive ranges for delivery within three weeks of ordering. They are now producing their own ranges of dining, bedroom and occasional furniture in solid oak, birch, beech and walnut. These are made in the same factories that produce furniture for many of the top end high street stores throughout Europe, with the same high standards or workmanship and materials, but offered by Famous Furniture at vastly reduced prices.
