A reasonable amount of the women's fashion comes from high street multiples. The menswear offers a wide range of clothes, and all types of shoes, from classic leather brogues to trainers, in the Shoes Yard. For the home, there is everything from curtain fabrics and bedlinen to white goods and a vast range of tiles. A huge gardening section offers everything from hose pipes and garden machinery to imported trees and shrubs. An excellent leisure section offers bicycles and accessories, golf gear, keep-fit systems, fishing rods and flies. Comparison prices are not given here, although staff say most items are discounted by up to 50%, so if you're looking for a bargain, make sure you've done your homework on the high street first. Stock is continually changing, so keep an open mind. The best deals are in fabrics, carpets, tiles and DIY. THERe IS A CAFE, PIZZA BAR AND PETROL STATION on site, plus a leisure park with a giant free-fall slide, supakart and family go-kart circuit, bumper boats, trawler rides, swan pedalos, pirate ship, aquablasters, orbiters, shooting gallery, remote control cars and cruisers, forklifts and mini-diggers, fun dungeon, animal park, model railway, narrow gauge steam railway, nature reserve, coarse fishing, Edwardian penny arcade and plenty of space to picnic and to park. New for 2007 is an indoor ice skating rink with family ticket entry making this affordable fun for all.
